About This Place

Located in the heart of Monroe, Louisiana, Piccadilly is a true haven for lovers of authentic Southern cuisine. From the moment you step inside this cozy restaurant at 2203 Louisville Ave, you’ll feel like you’ve walked right into a warm, inviting kitchen of a cherished family member.

Piccadilly’s menu is a celebration of comforting, homemade flavors that honor Southern cooking traditions while serving them fresh and vibrant. Among the standout dishes, the Southern Fried Fish and Fried Catfish Dinner deliver a crisp golden crust paired perfectly with tender, flaky fish that melts in your mouth. Classics like the Baked Chicken with Broccoli and Macaroni Cheese and the hearty Chicken Pot Pie and Roast Beef showcase satisfying, soul-warming goodness, with each bite offering rich, layered flavors.

Sides at Piccadilly are just as thoughtfully prepared—the creamy Mashed Potatoes with or without gravy, the subtly sweet and tender Carrot Souffle, and the smoky, slow-simmered Turnip Greens with diced turnips and bacon are perfect complements that elevate your meal to something truly memorable. For salad lovers, the flavorful Neptune (Crab) Salad dressed with a choice of Ranch, Honey Mustard, or Italian dressing adds a refreshing balance.

At Piccadilly, generous portions mean you’ll leave fully satisfied—whether you’re here for a solo meal or bringing friends with the Chicken Tender Packages. Their oversized tenders are crispy and juicy, paired with the signature Piccadilly Sauce that invites you to savor every bite. These packs are ideal for gatherings, delivering big Southern flavor in every piece.

No meal at Piccadilly is complete without indulging in their homemade desserts. The Red Velvet Cake is a decadent delight layered with chocolate ganache and finished with a tangy cream cheese frosting that melts on your tongue. Other sweet treats like Pecan Pie, Lemon Icebox Pie, and creamy Cheesecake with Cherry Topping provide a perfect finale to your rich Southern dining experience.

What truly makes Piccadilly special, beyond its dishes, is its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Longtime patrons like bobbie “Bee” runion cherish the sense of community here, as does Deloris Wilson, who praises the homemade taste and generous portions that bring back memories of home-cooked meals. The attentive and friendly staff add a layer of genuine hospitality—although the current challenge of limited air conditioning has been noted, it doesn’t dampen the spirit or quality of the experience.

Whether you’re a Southern cuisine novice eager to try the famous Black Eyed Peas and turnip greens for the first time or a seasoned local like Julian “Michael” Oglesby who appreciates delicious, grandma-style cooking, Piccadilly offers a comforting, satisfying escape into true Southern hospitality and flavor.

For a restaurant that proudly stands by its dishes—tasty, hearty, and made with care—Piccadilly in Monroe is an authentic Southern gem well worth your visit.

Haven't been to Piccadilly in years, today I stopped by and the food was just how I remembered it delicious, hot and fresh. The staff welcoming and friendly. It was very warm dining in due to the air conditioning was out, one of the staff informed me that it had been out for a couple month. There were fan blowing but it was just pushing warm air around.
